MEMBERSHIP
Membership is one of DPCA’s main focus areas. Attracting and retaining membership is vital to an organization that relies on that base not only for funding but also for adding volume and passion to the voice of the community on issues of importance. The Membership Committee takes responsibility for an annual renewal drive, continual recruitment of new members, and works to provide opportunities for residents to meet their neighbors by convening like-minded individuals for opportunities to socialize and share experiences of mutual interest.

Through DPCA Membership you can:- Stay informed--be the first to know what is happening in the neighborhood, from impending crisis to the social event of the season, through our monthly newsletter and email updates
- Meet your neighbors--our monthly meetings offer numerous opportunities to meet and greet your neighbors
- Participate in committees--chairing or being a member of a committee requires DPCA membership
- Volunteer your time--sign up to take the lead on projects that affect the community, attend a hearing, organize a fundraiser, recruit new members
- Maintain pride in your neighborhood--streets and sidewalks, trash, and parking are all issues close to home; support our work to keep our neighborhood safe, clean and livable
DPCA meets the third Tuesday of each month (September – June) at 7:00 PM in the lower level of the Pennsylvania Avenue Baptist Church, 3000 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, Washington, DC 20020. Membership dues are $20.00 annually and should be mailed to:
