ABOUT US
Since 1963 under the leadership of the first Association President, Riddick Pree, we have been working hard to protect the interests of the community and provide stability. Funds collected as yearly dues from members and from fundraisers are used to cover expenses associated with publishing and mailing our newsletter, to submit petitions or write letters to the DC Government and others, for scholarships, and for participation in and support of community projects. The Association’s accomplishments are provided below. In some cases, the activities are ongoing and require our continued vengelance in order to make the concerns of the residents of this community and of Ward 7 known and to ensure protection of our interests.
